“Local Richmond water-heater specialist with same-day service, 4.9 stars from 327+ reviews, $0 callout, flat-rate repairs from $189, and a 2-year labor warranty; their site shows same-day leaking-tank swaps and an install-pricing page for replacement.”
“Richmond-area plumber with over two decades specializing in water heater repair, replacement, and installation, advertising same-day service at (804) 744-6401.”
“Serving Richmond since 1968 with 24/7 emergency service, free estimates, and a #1 Favorite Plumber award from R-Home/Richmond magazine.”
“Open weekdays 8-5 only, so no reliable same-week or emergency window for a leaking tank.”
“Lead-generation page with mismatched city/state names, not a verifiable Richmond shop.”
“Same templated lead-gen page, no confirmable Richmond location or same-week availability.”
“Nationwide lead-gen site with an out-of-area phone number, not a local Richmond plumber.”
“Another templated lead-gen page with mismatched location labels, not a verifiable local company.”

We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in October 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
