med spa booking platforms, Booksy, Fresha and Vagaro, are booking partners inside Google AI Mode. Fresha is also live in ChatGPT.
Picked by Agents platform research, Sept 2026
The patient asks what it costs and who to see.
A patient considering a tummy tuck or a breast augmentation does not want to call three offices to ask for a number. They ask an assistant. What does it cost near me, who are the best board certified surgeons, and can I get a consultation soon. The assistant opens surgeon sites, reads procedure and pricing pages, checks credentials and reviews, and names about three.
Surgeons are competing inside that answer with med spas, and the med spas have a head start. Their booking platforms are already connected to the assistants, so a Botox or filler appointment can be requested without the assistant ever reading the provider's own site.
“Nobody will syndicate a surgeon's facts into the assistant. The practice's own site has to carry them.”
Why the surgeon's own site decides
Booksy, Fresha and Vagaro are booking partners in Google AI Mode. Fresha is live in ChatGPT and Claude, and Vagaro and Square are in Alexa+. That works for injectables and facials, which are booked by the slot. It does not work for surgery, which is chosen on the surgeon, the procedure, the price range and the consultation.
No platform carries those facts for a surgical practice. When the assistant compares surgeons, it reads what each practice published, and in our Grok probe across 16 local categories in September 2026 the business's own site was the source for 97% of picks. The surgeon who publishes the facts gets compared on them.
- 01
Procedure starting prices
A starting price or typical range for each procedure, with what it covers. Surgeon fee, anesthesia, facility, garments and follow-up visits stated, not left for the consultation.
- 02
A consultation calendar
Consultation openings an assistant can see, a stated consultation fee or none, and whether a virtual consultation is offered.
- 03
Credentials it can confirm
Board certification, hospital privileges and facility accreditation stated plainly on the site and consistent with the directories the assistant checks.
- 04
One page per procedure
A clear page for each procedure you want to be named for, naming who performs it, instead of one long list of services.
What we have measured, and what we have not
We have not yet run plastic surgery questions in the Picks Index, and we will not describe runs we have not done. What we have measured is the same kind of cash-pay decision in dental implants and LASIK. There the practices that published an all-in price with inclusions, and a consultation path an assistant could read, were named. The ones with no price, conflicting prices or a calendar behind a form were rejected, often in so many words.
Your free report is the first real run for your practice. We ask the assistants your patients' questions in your metro and show you exactly who they named and why.
What we do for a plastic surgery practice
- 01
Run the patients' real questions, monthly
Cost, surgeon and consultation questions for the procedures you care about, through the assistants patients use, against the practices and med spas that beat you. You see who got named and, in the assistant's own words, why.
- 02
Publish the deciding facts
Procedure starting prices with inclusions, consultation terms and surgeon credentials, written so an assistant finds them on the first pass.
- 03
Open the consultation path
A consultation an assistant can see and request without a phone tree or a long intake form. On Picked we rebuild it and tag AI-sourced consults in your own numbers.
- 04
Fix the profile and the directories
Google Business Profile and the directories the assistants cite, consistent with your site.
- 05
Stay inside the rules
We follow medical board and FTC rules on advertising, including before and after photos and outcome claims. We never promise results, and your team approves every page.
Who this is for
Surgeon-owned cosmetic and plastic surgery practices, one location or several, where the surgeon or the practice manager decides on marketing. If most of your revenue is injectables booked through a platform, a booking listing may matter more to you than we do. If your revenue is surgery, your own site decides whether the assistant names you.

Questions we get asked
- Do cosmetic surgery patients really use AI assistants?
- The research does not cut it by procedure, so we will not claim a number for plastic surgery. What Pew measured is that 66% of upper-income adults use AI chatbots and 48% use them for health questions. Cosmetic surgery is cash pay and researched for months, which is exactly where people lean on an assistant to compare.
- We cannot quote a price without a consultation. What should we publish?
- A starting price or a typical range for each procedure, and what that range includes. You are not quoting a patient, you are giving the assistant something true to compare. Without it, the assistant compares you on whatever another site says you charge.
- Should we list on a med spa booking platform instead?
- For injectables and treatments booked by the slot, a platform listing can help, because those platforms sit inside the assistants. For surgery, no platform carries your procedures, prices and credentials, so the assistant reads your site.
- Have you run plastic surgery questions before?
- Not in the Picks Index yet. We have run the closest cash-pay categories, dental implants and LASIK, and your free report is a real run for your practice in your metro. We only describe what the assistants actually said.
- How is the guarantee measured?
- We agree the questions, the procedures and the assistants in writing before we start, and record a baseline. We run them repeatedly so a lucky mention does not count. If you are not being named within 90 days we keep working free until you are. We guarantee being named, never consultations or revenue.
