“This Plano company has operated since 2002, holds a BBB A+ with no complaints and an active Texas A/C license (20036), and was named in an independent Reddit report of about $11,000 for a two-stage American Standard system with furnace, below competing quotes.”
“This Plano company dates to 1957, is a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer, holds a BBB A+ with accreditation since 1992 and one complaint, and has an active license (11386).”
“This Plano-area family business holds a BBB A+ with accreditation since 2010 and no complaints, and its license (15374) is active but expires October 10, 2026, so it is worth rechecking before signing.”
“It has a strong BBB record and Reddit price reports, but its site blocked my request and the license number it publishes belongs to a differently named business, SAS AIRCARE LLC.”
“It has served Plano since 1980 and holds active licenses, but I found no BBB profile to verify its record.”
“It holds an active license and a BBB A+, but it is not accredited, BBB lists no years in business, and it came up only as a pricier second quote.”
“Its live BBB profile shows a D- for not responding to two complaints, and its published license number belongs to a differently named business, SERVICE STAR INC.”
“It posts transparent tier pricing and holds an active license, but it is younger (since 2018), based near Farmers Branch rather than Plano, and I did not check its BBB.”
“Its DFW pricing guide was useful, but it is based in Roanoke and Flower Mound, far from Plano, and its page repeats outdated tax-credit claims.”
“Its Plano cost article gave no prices, and I did not vet it further within the time limit.”
“It is a directory and lead-generation site rather than an installer, so I used it only to find names.”

“Its Plano page posts complete installed options from $11,100 and names Varsity Zone HVAC as installer.”
“Its Plano page offers free estimates and system sizing from a local headquarters, useful for a comparable written quote.”
“It serves Plano for installation but gave less comparable price and proposal detail on the reviewed page.”
We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in September 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
