“Farmers Branch company whose reviews specifically call out honesty — 'very honest with no upsells and gimmicks,' 'knowledgeable, helpful, and trustworthy,' and advice-driven technicians.”
“Employee-owned DFW company since 1966 (4.8 on 195 reviews) with a published repair-vs-replace review story: they repaired one unit and replaced the other when replacement was genuinely warranted.”
“Farmers Branch HVAC shop rated 4.9 on 31 reviews and tagged inexpensive, a good second-opinion stop for a repair-first quote.”
“Strong Farmers Branch installer, but evidence centers on replacement pricing tiers rather than repair-first second opinions.”
“Porch reviewers call them honest and reasonable on price, but no verifiable local business page or license detail surfaced.”
“Porch reviews warn of scam-like behavior: fabricated 'code charges,' refused warranty, non-working installs — explicitly avoid.”
“Farmers Branch-based, but no review or honesty-specific evidence surfaced to match the picks.”
We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in October 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
