“They advertise free second opinions outright, and multiple recent customer reviews describe technicians refusing to upsell — one fixed an issue for $1,300 that another company had priced $2,700 higher.”
“BBB-accredited with an A+ rating and zero complaints with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, promising free cost estimates and a thorough assessment of your options before work begins.”
“A family-owned Scottsdale HVAC company whose technicians are salaried rather than commission-based, with an explicit no-upsells policy and transparent pricing.”
“One review praised them for finding a cheap capacitor fix after another company pushed full replacement, but they are Phoenix-based with no second-opinion program found.”
“Markets itself as an honest Scottsdale contractor, but I found little independent review corroboration to back the claim.”
“Strong reviews from Scottsdale customers, but nothing about free second opinions or objective repair-vs-replace assessments.”
“Yelp shows mixed reviews including a strongly negative new-install experience, so it did not clear my honesty bar.”
We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in October 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
