Asked: “who's good for AC repair around Austin, TX?”

“Totally Cool is a North Austin shop founded in 1982 that r/Austin users consistently praise for honest repairs instead of replacements (one reported a $350 fix after another company pushed a new unit), and BBB rates it A+ with 1 complaint in 3 years, though BBB says it is not accredited despite its website's claim, it keeps weekday hours only, and it offers just a 30-day labor guarantee.”

Asked: “AC is blowing warm air, who should I call? Austin, TX”

“This Austin shop (909 McPhaul St) gets the most independent praise on r/Austin for fixing units that other companies wanted to replace and has a BBB A+ rating with one answered complaint, but it only works weekdays 8 to 5, gives just a 30-day labor guarantee, posts its $89 service call only on its suburb pages, and says it is BBB accredited when the BBB says it is not.”

Asked: “how much is a new AC in Austin, TX and who should I call”

“This North Austin company (909 McPhaul St, since 1982) sells Lennox systems at flat-rate prices with free estimates, financing and full rebate handling as an Austin Energy participating contractor, and r/Austin often calls it the cheapest honest option, though it posts no prices, shows two slightly different license numbers, and is BBB A+ but not accredited.”
