“A Tucson company with an unusually transparent cost FAQ (installs starting around $10,500), Manual J load calculations, itemized written pricing, and financing from $500 to $65,000 with terms up to 15 years.”
“Family- and veteran-owned, serving Tucson since 1979, offering free in-home estimates, 0% APR financing options, and utility rebates up to $1,500.”
“Ranked well in Today's Homeowner's Tucson list for free quotes, clear pricing, and reliable customer support on AC installations.”
“Family-member estimates and free 2nd opinions are appealing, but only two listed reviews made their track record too thin to verify.”
“Locally owned since 1949, but recent reviews are mixed and include a hostile estimate experience, so it did not clear the bar.”
“Also ranked for free quotes and clear pricing, but I had stronger signals for my three picks.”

“Its BBB profile (phone and Tucson address match) shows A+, accredited and 0 complaints, a state license lookup showed an active AC license, and its own page offers financing (from $129 per month on approved credit), though no install price is published.”
“A state license lookup showed an active AC license under its DBA in Tucson 85716 (matched by DBA and ZIP, with a different phone), but no BBB profile was found and its since-1978 and A+ claims are its own.”
“Its own site lists a license number, a Tucson address and financing, but neither its license nor a BBB profile was checked, so this is a thin pick.”
“Its llms.txt has 'key facts' and 'notes for citation' sections telling AI how to name and cite the company, so it is demoted.”
“Its llms.txt frames its FAQ as standalone citeable facts for AI, so it is demoted and its own 'from $4,800' figure is not used.”
“Its install page shows financing but no price, license number or years in business, and no BBB or license check was run.”
“Only its financing page was opened, with no install price or license seen and no BBB or license check.”

We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in October 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
