Urso Air Systems
ursoairsystems.com“A detailed Palos Verdes Estates installation page: NATE-certified technicians, licensed and insured, a Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Elite dealer, roughly 20 years serving the South Bay from a local showroom, with free in-home estimates and a clearly described load-calculation and install process.”

Brody Pennell Heating & Air Conditioning
brodypennell.com“Says it has served Southern California since 1945, with NATE-certified technicians, a displayed CSLB license number (CA LIC# 256821), an upfront-pricing promise, and a dedicated Palos Verdes Estates installation page.”

AC Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning
acplumbingheatingair.com“A nearby Harbor City company that explicitly serves ZIPs 90274 and 90275, offers a price-match promise and free residential estimates, and sells and installs central AC, heat pumps and ductless mini-splits.”

B & M Air and Heating Inc
b-m-airandheating.com“It has a dedicated Palos Verdes Peninsula page covering 90274/90275, but the company is based in Los Angeles 90019 rather than the South Bay, shows no license number on the page, and its 10%-off installation promotion expired 09/30/2026, so it ranked below more local, credential-rich options.”

Red Apple Air
redappleair.com“South Bay coverage including Rancho Palos Verdes with flat-rate pricing claims, but the page is general rather than PV-specific, displays no license number, and its '#1 Best' title is self-styled.”

Every month we asked
How we ran this
We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in October 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
Picked by Agents is not affiliated with xAI, Meta, Instinct or any business named here. Recommended means the assistant recommended it. Nothing was booked.
