“Publishes Fort Myers installed cost ranges ($8,000-$15,000), installs strictly to manufacturer manuals, documents every job with photos and readings, and offers free written itemized estimates with a repair option always on the table.”
“In business since 2003 with 5.0 stars on HomeAdvisor; reviewers praise the best price among multiple quotes, no upselling, and a next-day full-unit install.”
“A 78-year-old reviewer reported next-day system installation during a summer heat wave with professional, courteous installers who cleaned up.”
“Well-reviewed Fort Myers shop with 42 Porch reviews, but less documented install detail than the picks.”
“69 Porch reviews praising honesty and reliability, but review content is thinner on new installs.”
“Strong install reviews with professional crews, but thinner volume than the picks.”
“Honest and responsive local shop, but AC is a secondary service line to electrical work.”

“Quote candidates are UNRANKED, not a verified ranking; 'best' is the worker's judgment of limited opened evidence. Its own installation page explains sizing, ductwork, permits, warranties and financing, and it is the ONLY candidate that publishes installed price ranges (SCOPED own-page planning ranges, NOT quotes - see limitations). BBB (matched by website and address, 932 NE 24th Lane Unit 4): A+ accredited, 8 yrs, 5/5 from only 3 reviews (small sample), 0 complaints. Licence CAC1823099 is an own-site claim (DBPR check MISSING - not run, not zero).”
“It offers installation and replacement in Fort Myers with free replacement quotes and financing on its own pricing page; its pricing page publishes SERVICE-CALL prices only (business hours Mon-Fri 8-4 $110 standard / $65 maintenance members; after-hours/emergency $180 / $90, 'covers the trip ... and a full diagnosis') - NOT installation prices. BBB (matched by website and address, 1621 Seaboard St): A+ accredited, 18 yrs, 0 reviews (missing customer evidence), 0 complaints. Licence CAC1815945 is an own-site claim (DBPR missing).”
“Its own installation page describes duct inspection, airflow and refrigerant checks. BBB (matched by website and address, 7997 Mercantile St Unit 11): A+ accredited, 20 yrs, 5/5 from only 1 review, 1 complaint in 3 yrs and in the last 12 months (ANSWERED; customer disputed warranty billing; the business said it zeroed the balance - merits discussion at quote time, disclosed). Licence CAC1814970 is an own-site claim (DBPR missing).”
“Despite substantial installation experience and A+ BBB accreditation (30 yrs; matched by website and address, 5631 Halifax Ave), the opened BBB pages show one 1/5 review and 1 disputed service complaint in 3 yrs (0 in last 12; allegations, not findings), so the other candidates were preferred for this limited shortlist. Licence CAC1814169 is an own-site claim (DBPR missing).”

We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in October 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
