“Quote candidates are UNRANKED, not a verified ranking; 'best' is the worker's judgment of limited opened evidence. Its own page lists new installations and replacements, financing, a Fort Myers address and CAC licence number (own claims); its BBB profile (matched by address 2970 Cargo St and licence; profile, reviews and complaints opened): A+, accredited, 26 years, 61 reviews averaging 4.69/5, 6 complaints in 3 years.”
“Its own page describes AC replacement steps, financing and 50+ years (own claim), lists CAC057214 (matches BBB's record); its North Fort Myers BBB profile (matched by licence number only): A+, NOT accredited, 54 years, only 1 review (star score not captured), 2 complaints in 3 years.”
“Its own Fort Myers page covers AC installation and replacement, financing and 'in business since 1977' (own claim), lists CAC058062 (matches BBB's record); its BBB profile is company-wide, based in Hudson FL, NOT a Fort Myers branch (matched by licence number only): accredited, A+, 14 complaints in 3 years (5 in the last 12 months; average review score not captured).”
“Its site shows a licence number (CAC1822814, own claim, unchecked), Synchrony financing and 'since 1970' (own claim), but the cap ended before a BBB check - UNCHECKED, not rejected; its site also pushes an online instant-quote form, which the worker did NOT use.”
We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in September 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
