“9.0/10 ConsumerAffairs score, same-day service, and handles full residential/commercial installation and maintenance — a strong first call; in El Paso a new system typically runs $4,000-$8,000 installed (one reviewer paid $6,200), with simpler swaps lower.”
“8.8/10 score, in business since 2008, and an authorized Hitachi VRF rep installing heat pumps and mini-splits — good comparison quote for high-efficiency options.”
“In business since 1981 with strong reviews for swamp-cooler-to-refrigerated-air conversions, the common El Paso installation scenario, at 4.8 stars across 525 reviews.”
“Highest score (9.2/10) but based in Las Cruces, NM — favored El Paso-based picks.”
“Good score (8.8/10) and fast response, but a smaller/younger outfit than the picks.”
“Solid all-round shop (8.5/10) doing refrigerated-air conversions, edged out by picks with stronger installation reviews.”
“Woman-owned family shop since 1980, but lowest aggregate score of the finalists (8.3/10).”

“Its own site says AC work since 1980 and offers financing, BBB lists it as accredited since 1997, A+, 0 complaints, 4 reviews averaging 5/5 (thin record; 1035 Kessler Dr matches the BBB site link), and TDLR shows an active AC contractor licence for Kings Aire and Plumbing LLC (TACLA00162356C, exp 4/3/2027; an older Kings Aire Inc licence shows expired). Earlier accepted El Paso runs flagged Kings Aire as under new ownership as of July 2026; not confirmed or re-checked in this run.”
“Its own page has a dedicated AC installation and replacement page with free estimates and financing, BBB shows A+, accredited since 2014, 0 complaints (0 reviews), the BBB address 7241 Stiles Dr matches the site footer, and TDLR shows an active AC contractor licence under this name.”
“Its own site claims licence TACLA84756C (own-site claim only; TDLR was not checked for it), financing and a family-owned business, and BBB shows A+, accredited since 2019 (BBB start 2017), 0 complaints, 4 reviews averaging 5/5 (thin record); BBB lists it in Horizon City (1867 Shreya St), not El Paso proper.”
“Set aside: its llms.txt has an 'AI Agent Access' section pointing agents to a site endpoint and API tools (agent-directed, not followed), so no BBB or licence check was done; its 'since 1991' and financing claims are its own. Consistent with the TASK 697 set-aside.”

We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in October 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
