Kings Aire

kingsaire.com
“Unranked quote candidate (the study asked 'best first'; no verified best). Its installation page describes sizing, permits and in-house duct fabrication. BBB: A+, accredited, 4 reviews all 5-star, 0 complaints - BUT BBB records NEW OWNERSHIP July 1 2026, so its 46 years and review history are NOT proof about the new owner (disclosed). TDLR at result-list level: TACLA00162356C for Kings Aire and Plumbing LLC (exp 2027-04-03) matches the current BBB entity; an older Kings Aire Inc licence expired 2026-09-12 - ask for the current contracting entity and licence. Its llms.txt is a Yoast-generated descriptive index ('for LLM consumption', links plus marketing copy, no instruction - not a demote trigger; URL omitted).”

BBB: A+, accredited, 18 yrs, 0 reviews, 1 complaint (resolved; repair pricing/warranty communication). TDLR at result-list level only: TACLB00026689E, and TACLB00078319E for Total Air Services LLC DBA Total Air - status detail NOT opened (disclosed). Published financing. No prices.”

Israel Sheet Metal LLC

israelsheetmetal.com
“SET ASIDE under the agent-instruction rule: its llms.txt is a descriptive index WITH Q&A summaries, credentials and offers - the short-answers-for-AI family set aside in earlier accepted runs (Smart Home TASK 753); not followed, URL omitted, and its $8,500-$18,000 conversion price range is DROPPED from the cost basis. For the record: TDLR detail Active TACLA00118528E exp 2027-02-28; BBB A+, accredited, 34 yrs, 0 reviews, 0 complaints (BBB category is sheet metal fabrication, Canutillo - disclosed).”

One Way Heating and Cooling

“Its installation process and financing pages were readable, but no matching BBB profile was found and its TDLR check was not completed within the cap; its licence number is its own claim.”

Every month we asked

How we ran this

We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in September 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.

Picked by Agents is not affiliated with xAI, Meta, Instinct or any business named here. Recommended means the assistant recommended it. Nothing was booked.
