“4.8 on 477 Yelp reviews, family-owned since 2009 with free estimates and payment plans; reviewers note techs explain options and don’t upsell.”
“Over a century of Bay Area experience and published central AC installation pricing of $3,000-$5,000.”
“Operating since 1954 and run by the second and third generations, with deep experience across modern and vintage SF systems.”
“Certified pros with free estimates and 734 recent quote requests, but no review count or pricing surfaced.”
“10 years locally owned with strong reviewer enthusiasm, but only a few quote snippets to judge by.”
“Praised for fair pricing and a 1-day high-efficiency install, but only one detailed review surfaced.”

“It is based in San Francisco (BBB address matches its site), its BBB profile shows A+ with 0 reviews and 3 complaints in 3 years (1 in the last 12 months, a resolved billing dispute), and a state license lookup under its name showed an active license, but its pages show no install prices.”
“Its financing page and an A BBB profile (accredited since July 2026, 0 complaints, 0 reviews, San Jose) support it as a quote candidate, but the BBB profile shows a 2024 start against its own '10+ years' claim and its claimed license number was not found in the state name lookup, so it is a thin pick.”
“Its SF page has a 'Quick Answers' block labeled 'AI Optimized', so it is demoted and its price page is not used, and it is based in Pleasant Hill with a BBB phone that differs from its site and 2 complaints in 3 years.”
“Only its BBB profile (A+, 0 reviews, 0 complaints) was found and opened, with no own site found and no license check.”
“Its page shows prices and mentions 'provincial rebates', which reads as Canadian, and it names no address, license or BBB profile, so it cannot be confirmed as a San Francisco contractor.”
“Its page is an East Bay service-area page with a coupon and no San Francisco address, license number or prices, and no BBB check was run.”
We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in October 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
