“Its own pages describe installation design, sizing and permit help in Rancho Palos Verdes (its claims), its BBB profile is accredited A+ with no reviews or complaints, and a state license name search showed an active license matching its site, though its 1999 start claim differs from BBB's 2005 and BBB's address differs from its site's.”
“It describes local split-system installation and claims service since 2014, but no BBB or license check was completed.”
“Its page claims more than a decade of experience and licensed installers but gives no license number, and no BBB or license check was completed.”
“Its about page says it arranges a contractor rather than naming the installing business, so no installer's license or BBB record could be checked.”
“Its page describes connecting the customer with professionals without naming the contractor.”
We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in September 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
