We asked Instinct this exact question in September 2026. Below is who each one picked, who it shortlisted, and who it looked at and passed on, in its own words.

“Its own page offers 24/7 emergency AC repair in Greater New Orleans rather than an explicit same-day promise (its claim, availability today not verified), and its address-matched BBB profile shows A+ accreditation since 1992 and 4.26/5 from 156 reviews, though with 21 complaints in three years.”
“Its own page states 24/7 same-day emergency AC repair in New Orleans (its claim, availability today not verified), and its address-matched BBB profile shows A+ accreditation with only 2 complaints, though the record is thin at 7 reviews and its posted license is a self-claim.”
“Although its own page states 24/7 emergency and same-day AC repair, its llms.txt exposes a machine-usable search endpoint and frames blog content with Key Takeaways short-answer summaries for AI, so it was set aside and its posted license and BBB data were not relied on.”
“Its page states same-day and 24/7 emergency AC repair, but the query cap was reached before its BBB profile could be located and the state license lookup under its name returned no record, so it stayed unverified.”
We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in September 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
