Acute Heating & Cooling

“Worker-judgment order (emergency-service fit, corroboration, local coverage, clear diagnostic terms), NOT a verified ranking. Matched BBB profile, reviews and complaints opened (entity matched by website and 1235 Boone Hill Rd): A+, accredited since 10/8/2024, started 11/8/2016, 9 yrs, ZERO reviews and ZERO complaints - sparse evidence, disclosed. Own-page '$69 DIAGNOSIS FEE' with 'CALL FOR DETAILS' and '$45 OFF HVAC REPAIR' (scoped own-page offers, conditions unstated, not a quote). “The opened repair page confirms Mount Pleasant repairs and a since-1998 self-claim, but the same-day/24-hour promise seen in SEARCH EXCERPTS did NOT appear on the opened page (disclosed - a same-day fit can't be confirmed); its BBB and licence checks remain missing. It self-publishes 5.0 and 677+ Google reviews (unverified). llms.txt: Yoast-generated descriptive link index ('meant for consumption by LLMs'), no directive - kept.”

“Its own pages claim conditional same-day and 24/7 service, but with less corroboration than the first pick: no opened licence number, no published diagnostic price and no matched BBB profile (unknown, not zero). llms.txt redirects to its homepage.”

Every month we asked

How we ran this

We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in September 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.

Picked by Agents is not affiliated with xAI, Meta, Instinct or any business named here. Recommended means the assistant recommended it. Nothing was booked.
