“Family-run Mid-South company with a Memphis showroom, Carrier & Trane lines, 24/7 emergency service, and advertised 60-months-no-interest financing with up to $2,000 rebates.”
“Memphis-area company since 1954 with EPA-certified, background-checked technicians and a maintenance program that discounts repairs — a solid long-tenure local choice.”
“Family-owned Memphis heating and cooling contractor since 1979, certified Trane Comfort Specialist with maintenance agreements.”
“4.8 rating and active Memphis presence, but a smaller review footprint than the picks and less documented install history.”
“Local and well-reviewed for price, but a newer sole-proprietor shop — less track record for full installs than the picks.”

“Its own page says family-owned AC replacement in Memphis since 1996, with a written one-year installation guarantee, free estimates and financing with approved credit (all own claims), and its BBB profile shows Accredited since 2001, A+, with zero reviews and zero complaints (thin record); its TN licence search returned no results, so the licence check is missing.”
“Its own page describes a load-calculation-based install, free second opinions and Wells Fargo/GoodLeap financing (own claims), and BBB shows Accredited since 1988, A+, 4.81/5 from 269 reviews and 20 complaints in 3 years; its licence #51398 is its own claim - the TN lookup returned 17 partial results with no matching HVAC entry, so the licence is unverified.”
“BBB is A+ and Accredited, but shows 1.65/5 from 781 reviews and 1,636 complaints in 3 years (564 in the last 12 months); the volume is large for a big company, but the rating is weak.”
“Only its financing page was opened (financing with approved credit); I did not open its BBB pages (BBB search list showed A+), so I did not verify enough to pick it.”
“Its own site claims Memphis HVAC since 1953, Trane dealer, financing; I did not open BBB pages or check a licence, so I could not verify it.”
“Its own site claims family-owned since 2003, free in-home estimates and financing; no BBB or licence evidence opened.”

We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in October 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
