“Its own site describes AC installation since 2000 and licensed, insured technicians (its claims), and its BBB profile is accredited A+ with 4.58 of 5 from 19 reviews and no complaints, though many reviews concern plumbing, BBB shows 26 years against its own 2000 start, and no license number or check was found.”
“Its own site offers central AC, mini-split and heat-pump installation, free estimates and a 10-year new-installation warranty (its claims), and its BBB profile is accredited A+ with no complaints, but with zero reviews, a BBB start of 9 years against its own 15 years of experience, and no license check.”
“It claims 40+ years and lists financing partners, but its BBB profile shows 32 complaints in three years (10 in the last 12 months, across headquarters and corporate locations) and recent negative reviews about installation delays and property damage, and no license was checked.”
“Its homepage shows conflicting license numbers and history claims (2008 against BBB's 2021 start), its llms.txt supplies short answers written for AI consumption, and its BBB address differs from the site.”
We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in September 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
