“Its Idaho contractor registration RCE-999 is verified Active in the state lookup (exp 11/17/2026, no discipline), and its address-matched BBB profile shows A+ accreditation since 1984, 58 years and 1 complaint in 3 years, though reviews are thin (4.11/5 from 9, including a recent negative) and its since-1967 and Google figures are its own.”
“Its BBB profile shows A+ accreditation since 2009 with the deepest review base opened (4.95/5 from 156) and 3 complaints in 3 years, but its licence is not verified (only an inactive record under a similar name was found; its own-site MEC1464 is unverified) and its award and best-company claims are its own.”
“It publishes its diagnostic fees on its own page ($99 weekday, $149 weekend; $119 tune-up - its own prices) and its address- and phone-matched BBB profile shows A+ accreditation since 1980 with 70 years, but only 3 reviews and 2 complaints (both resolved), and no state record was found under its name (its RCE-873/012266 are self-reported).”
“Its BBB profile shows A+ accreditation but only 3/5 from 6 reviews with 3 complaints in 3 years, no published pricing, and a generic filler repair page; its licence was not looked up (own-site HVC-C-3985 unverified).”
We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in September 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
