We asked Instinct this exact question in September 2026. Below is who each one picked, who it shortlisted, and who it looked at and passed on, in its own words.
Europe · Instinct over iMessage · asked 2026-10-16 17:41 UTC
“Its office at 901 S MoPac Expy is in 78746 itself, and the page promises same-day appointments 8 a.m.-8 p.m. seven days a week plus 24/7 emergency service with a posted license (TACLB #117615E as worded) and flat-rate pricing.”
“Posts a $79 service call, is open now (Mon-Sat 7am-7pm at the assumed 12:41 PM Friday), says same-day visits are often available, and explicitly serves West Lake Hills and Bee Cave next to 78746 (license TACLA119235 as worded).”
Instinct named this company without a reason.
“Heavy 24/7 and 60-minute-arrival claims plus price ranges, but no license number anywhere on the page, a generic business name, and an odd '1000 1/2 N Congress Ave' address, so the company's identity is unverifiable from its own site.”
“Established local company with 24/7 live answering, but its own FAQ reserves same-day service for maintenance-plan members and quotes 'within 24 hours' for everyone else, weaker for a come-out-today need.”
“Footer places it in 78746, but the site shows no hours, no same-day or emergency claim, and no license number, and uses a gmail contact address; only a third-party directory snippet claimed hours.”
We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in September 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
Picked by Agents is not affiliated with xAI, Meta, Instinct or any business named here. Recommended means the assistant recommended it. Nothing was booked.
