“Quote candidates are UNRANKED, not a verified ranking; 'best' is the worker's judgment of limited opened evidence. Alpharetta-based (6855/6857 Shiloh Rd E) and the ONLY business here with a VERIFIED Active Georgia conditioned-air licence: GOALS detail GAREGCN006856, Conditioned Air Company, Active, issued 10/05/2017, expires 11/30/2027 (matched by name; the number matches the 'GA Reg. CN-006856' on its own page). Its 4.9 Google on 2,252 reviews and 'since 1992' are its OWN claims (disclosed). CROSS-RUN: its one BBB name search returned NO results (a miss, not a negative), so its BBB profile was NOT read this run - the accepted-TASK-858 BBB accreditation-SUSPENSION finding is NEITHER confirmed NOR contradicted (disclosed, not resolved).”
“Its Alpharetta page lists AC installation and replacement with load calculations, permit coordination and a posted 0% for 60 months financing offer (business's own claim). BBB (matched by Norcross address 2100 Norcross Pkwy and Visit Website link): A+, accredited since 3/26/2009, 35 yrs, 33 reviews (average NOT read - disclosed), WEIGHED AGAINST 46 complaints in 3 years, 10 in the last 12 months - some about a system installation and an UNRESOLVED drain-line dispute (allegations, not findings - disclosed). Its GOALS check is MISSING (reCAPTCHA error, not retried - blocked, not zero).”
“Its Alpharetta page covers AC replacement with Manual J sizing, financing, and a stated Georgia licence number (GAREGCN2011384 - OWN claim, NOT verified; GOALS check missing). BBB (1360 Union Hill Rd Ste 5F): accredited since 1/5/2026 (VERY NEW - disclosed), 0 complaints, A+ not read, no readable review summary; the worker did NOT confirm the franchise website matches the BBB entry (disclosed).”
“Evidence-based why_not (NOT an AI-wording set-aside): its site posts a tonnage/SEER2 price table (3 ton 14.3-15 SEER2 $4,800-$7,200; 17+ SEER2 $7,800-$10,600; 'standard installation', removal 'varies by contractor'), but the business could NOT be vetted: no licence or BBB profile verified (query cap), it shows only a Gmail contact, and its certification (NADCA) relates to duct cleaning - who the company is could not be established. Its price table was NOT used (disclosed).”

We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in October 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
