Why assistants recommended Mathews CCAC Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical

Asked: “My AC stopped cooling. Find me an HVAC company in Corpus Christi, TX that can come out today.”

“Worker-judgment order, NOT a verified ranking (worker notes: if the customer weighs complaint history more, Birdwell or Tommy Cool may suit better). Own page claims 24/7 emergency AC service since 1979 (OWN claim - BBB says 32 yrs/since 1993, difference disclosed; availability NOT verified, nobody contacted). LICENCE VERIFIED: Texas TDLR returned Mathews CCAC Heating & Cooling LLC, TACLA00012069C ACTIVE, exp 03/22/2027, Nueces County - number matches its site (record URL omitted). BBB (profile, reviews, complaints opened; matched via the badge link on its site): A+ ACCREDITED since 1993, 72 reviews (star average did not render - disclosed), BUT 142 complaints in 3 yrs (54 in the last 12 months) - HIGH complaint volume, disclosed prominently; counts are not rates. Its 'up to $6000 off a new AC system' is a new-system promo, not a repair price.”

Asked: “Who is the best AC repair company in Corpus Christi, TX?”

“Rests on OWN CLAIMS ONLY (thin - disclosed): its site claims 6,394 reviews, 24/7 emergency AC repair and a (361) number; NO licence number seen on the opened page and NO BBB or TDLR check was run this run (cap). CROSS-RUN (disclosed, NOT resolved): accepted TASK 826 VERIFIED Mathews CCAC's TDLR licence BUT its BBB showed 1.6/5 over 72 reviews and 142 complaints in 3 years (allegations, not findings) - 826 stays unchanged; this run checked neither, so the pick is NOT corroborated and is thinner than 826's evidence.”

Asked: “I need a new AC unit installed in Corpus Christi, TX. Who should I get quotes from, and roughly what will it cost?”

“Although it publishes installation services, financing and licence number TACLA00012069C (on its financing page; NOT validated in a TDLR detail record - check missing), its BBB LOCAL profile (ccacac.com, 4502 S Padre Island Dr; A+, accredited) LINKS its reviews/complaints pages to Southern Air's CORPORATE GROUP: 1.6/5 from 72 reviews, 142 complaints in 3 yrs, 54 in the last 12 months - NOT Mathews-only figures (disclosed), leaving local installation quality unclear. Own '45+ years' vs BBB local start 1977 / business start 1993 (unresolved). Its page also exposes a PHP redirect-code fragment and raw badge data (disclosed). CROSS-RUN: recurs from 826/842; the Jon Wayne/Mathews identical-BBB-figures question was NOT tested here and stays UNRESOLVED.”
