“Its page states license CAC1822636, service in Tampa Bay since 1986 and 4.6 from 936 Google reviews (its own claims), and BBB lists the same license (not accredited); it posts no price, so the only figure is the Florida Cool guide's 2026 range of $6,500-$10,500 for a typical 3-ton replacement, a Boca Raton contractor's guide that is not St. Petersburg-specific.”
“It says it has been local since 1983, shows 189 Google reviews on its own page and offers free replacement estimates, and BBB shows A+ and accredited since 11/5/2025; it posts no install price, only an $89 diagnostic and a $65 tune-up.”
“It is family-owned, states licenses CAC1813759 and CAC1819067 and offers a free in-home estimate with a Manual J load calculation, and its page says a full HVAC replacement generally runs $5,000-$28,000 (undated, scope not itemized); I found no independent review source for it.”
“It is a national franchise page with generic copy and no price, license number or review figures.”
“Its page mentions a CAC license with no number and gives no install prices.”
“Its page has no price or license number, an empty reviews section and unresolved template tokens ('{{placeholder_footer_reserve4}}' and similar).”
“Its homepage lists license CAC1823011 and a Google Guaranteed badge but no install pricing or review figures.”
We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in September 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
