“Longest tenure of the candidates (BBB lists 29 years, accredited since 2010) with no BBB complaints, an active NSCB C-21 license and a stated no-after-hours-fee 24/7 repair policy, though its review data could not be read.”
“Active NSCB C-21B license, in business since 2013 per its site, BBB A+ with 4 complaints in 3 years and 8 BBB reviews, and a stated same-day and 24/7 service; the BBB match is by name only.”
“Active license, BBB A+ and no complaints, but its llms.txt contains agent-directed instructions and its 4.8 from 858 Google reviews is self-reported.”
“Large and licensed, but BBB shows 65 complaints in 3 years (10 in the last 12 months) and several 1-star reviews about no-shows and an unresolved repair.”
“ZIP-templated service-area page with no license number, prices, review counts or tenure to rely on.”
“No license number, prices or tenure on the page, and its testimonial is off-topic template filler about an appliance.”
“Generic repair copy with no license number, prices, review counts or tenure, and not verified elsewhere.”
We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in September 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
