“It says every installation includes a load calculation, a quality-control audit and a free estimate with multiple equipment options; for budgeting only, HomeGuide's guide (July 25, 2025 byline, 2026 title) gives national installed replacement ranges of $5,000-$8,300 for standard-efficiency AC or $8,300-$12,500 for mid-range AC in a 2,000 sq ft home, excluding ductwork changes, which is not a Bunn's quote.”
“It offers Huntsville AC installation with pricing discussed before work and a buy-back guarantee subject to restrictions, and BBB lists license HVAC 2016016 expiring December 31, 2026; no provider-specific installed price was found.”
“Its page shows template filler ('Lorem Ipsum' under 'Get In Touch'), so I did not pick it; it states a 10-year equipment warranty and free estimate, and BBB lists license 2023069 expiring December 31, 2026.”
“Its page mentions home-specific sizing and free second opinions but gave no workmanship warranty, and its self-published license ALHVAC#10093 was not confirmed.”
“Its HVAC page gave less detail about installation sizing, quality checks and warranty terms than the picks.”
We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in September 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
