“Clearwater's premier HVAC company per BuildZoom (score 112, top 3% of Florida licensed contractors, 312+ permitted projects in 3 years) with free service calls; expect $3,500-$9,500 for a Florida replacement.”
“Clearwater shop with detailed reviews describing honest guidance through repair-vs-replace decisions and careful, clean installations.”
“Clearwater company with a 2026 review describing same-day estimate, next-day quality install, fair pricing, and no upselling.”
“5.0 on 49 reviews and Clearwater-based, but a thinner review base than the picks.”
“Review evidence was mixed (a recent 1.0 alongside 5.0s), so it was excluded from the picks.”
“A long-standing Clearwater Trane dealer, but a September 2026 review described a poor sizing/service experience — a risk signal.”

“Its Clearwater page describes home sizing, written scope and estimates, and a DBPR page shows license CAC1822636 current and active; Joe Cool Home Services' Clearwater cost guide puts a full 2-4 ton central AC or heat-pump replacement at about $7,500-$15,500 (typical 3-ton home $9,000-$12,500), a guide figure and not a quote.”
“It offers Clearwater installation and replacement with cooling-load sizing, DBPR shows CAC058664 current and active, BBB shows A+ and accreditation, and Birdeye shows 4.9 from 981 reviews; it posts no price.”
“Its replacement page describes commissioning and equipment options and publishes $4,500-$12,000+ for complete HVAC installation depending on size, efficiency, brand and ductwork, and DBPR shows CAC057711 current and active, though its own site shows a different license number (CAC1817987).”
“Its Clearwater page offers replacement and free estimates, but its About page has lorem-ipsum template filler and I could not confirm its license status.”
“Its page covers central AC, mini-splits and window units but gives no installation price or other local evidence.”

We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in October 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
Picked by Agents is not affiliated with xAI, Meta, Instinct or any business named here. Recommended means the assistant recommended it. Nothing was booked.
