“Its June 26, 2026 guide lists $5,500-$9,000 for a 3-ton system including equipment, removal, installation, refrigerant, electrical connections, permits and testing (duct modifications extra) and describes Manual J sizing; HomeAdvisor shows 5.0 from 4 reviews and a Chamber of Commerce page shows 4.8 from 176 reviews including one disputed installation complaint.”
“Its page describes load calculations, permits, disposal and multi-brand proposals and lists roughly $5,000-$7,000 for 3-4 tons (undated, no SEER tied to the range), and Birdeye shows 4.9 from 94 Google-labelled reviews.”
“Its July 24, 2026 Boca Raton guide estimates $8,000-$11,000 for a 3-ton 15.2-SEER2 standard replacement including equipment, labor, standard permits and old-system removal but excluding duct replacement, electrical panel work and coastal protection, and BestProsInTown shows installation-related review excerpts.”
“It publishes $6,400-$11,900 for a 3-ton high-efficiency install and promises Manual J sizing, but I could not corroborate its review count, dealer badge or lifetime workmanship claim.”
“It offers customized Carrier installs but posts no price range, and its BBB profile is not accredited with critical customer excerpts.”
“It says it has served Boca Raton since 1982 and installs replacement units, but gives little scope detail and no price range.”
We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in September 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
