Asked: “My AC stopped cooling. Find me an HVAC company in Dallas, TX that can come out today.”

“Happel has the strongest independent reputation of the three, with several r/Dallas recommendations including one where the owner came within an hour when a capacitor died on a hot day, it is in Dallas proper (10205 Chesterton Dr), and TDLR shows license TACLB00029188C active until 10/22/2026, but its site only says to ask about same-day service with no posted hours, emergency claim or diagnostic fee, and BBB has not rated it.”

Asked: “Who is the best AC repair company in Dallas, TX?”

“Happel is the most recommended company across r/Dallas threads from 2023 to 2024 for keeping old systems running instead of selling replacements (including repairing a 25-year-old unit and answering an urgent call within about an hour), it is in Dallas at 10205 Chesterton Dr (Lake Highlands), and TDLR shows license TACLB00029188C active until 10/22/2026, but BBB has not rated it (no complaints), and it posts no diagnostic fee or specific warranty.”

Asked: “My furnace won't turn on. Who can fix it this week in Dallas, TX?”

“Happel is a small Dallas shop (10205 Chesterton Dr, Lake Highlands) with repeated r/Dallas praise for its owner repairing rather than replacing, and TDLR shows license TACLB00029188C active until 10/22/2026, but its site only says to ask about same-day service with no posted hours, fee or warranty terms, BBB has not rated it (no complaints), and its capacity this week is uncertain.”

Asked: “my AC isn't working, can someone come out today? I'm in Dallas, TX”

“Happel is a small Lake Highlands shop in Dallas proper (10205 Chesterton Dr) and the most consistently praised HVAC company in r/Dallas threads, including reports of arriving within about an hour on urgent summer calls, and it holds TDLR license TACLB00029188C active until 10/22/2026 with no BBB complaints (not rated), but its own site says nothing about same-day service, hours or fees, and a third-party directory lists weekday hours of 9 AM to 5 PM, so today depends on its schedule.”

Asked: “who's good for AC repair around Dallas, TX?”

“Happel is the most-repeated recommendation across four r/Dallas threads, where users praise owner Rick for keeping old systems running, not being pushy and beating other quotes, and it is based in Lake Highlands (10205 Chesterton Dr, Dallas 75238) with TDLR license TACLB00029188C active until 10/22/2026 and no BBB complaints, though BBB has not rated it and its site offers only a free estimate before repair with no posted fees, hours or warranty terms.”
