“Reviewers report two A/C replacements with competitive pricing, meticulous clean installs, and immediate follow-ups; roughly, expect $3,300-$5,900 average for a new AC unit installed (HomeGuide), with Porch's Cedar Park average at $2,967-$3,521 for a split system.”
“4.7 stars from 198 reviewers; a customer praises a fast emergency unit replacement followed by ongoing maintenance.”
“Porch-listed installer whose reviewer, a general contractor, reports 10 years of reliable work, great pricing, and quick warranty service.”
“Licensed and insured (TACLB 27567E), locally owned, but appeared only briefly in an aggregator list with little install-specific evidence.”
“Excellent for repairs, but reviews focus on keeping old units running rather than installations.”
“Round Rock/Austin shop with transparent tiered pricing ($12,700-$29,400), but further from Cedar Park and used here mainly as a cost reference.”
We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in October 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
