What would change it
Where the assistant found the answer on another site and not on this one.
Arrow says same-day arrival is typical for most HVAC emergencies; Meldon's furnace-repair page says 24/7 emergency repair but does not promise same-day arrival.
https://callarrowhvac.com/Arrow states there is no after-hours or holiday surcharge; Meldon's reviewed pages do not state an emergency pricing policy.
https://callarrowhvac.com/about/Arrow publishes a $6,000–$12,000 range for a combined furnace-and-AC installation; Meldon's reviewed pages offer estimates and an assessment but no installed-price range.
