Who it picked instead
The company the assistant picked most often in Arcata.
Evans Mechanical
Picked first in 5 of 6, picked in 5 of 6
“It serves Arcata, identifies NATE-certified technicians, and describes furnace, heat pump, AC, repair, installation, and maintenance services.”
What would change it
Where the assistant found the answer on another site and not on this one.
The market answer found no upfront fixed prices for Scurfield; its reviewed pages provide a quote form but no posted service prices. Evans likewise does not publish prices, so this was not a distinguishing competitor claim.
https://evansmechanical.com/services-areas/arcata-ca/Evans explicitly describes HVAC and furnace service in Arcata and names NATE-certified technicians; Scurfield's reviewed pages describe Humboldt County service and list Ben's licenses, but do not name a comparable NATE certification or spell out Arcata-specific repair coverage on its heating pages.
