“Active CSLB C-20/C-36 license #1073870 (issued 2021, so the 1949 history is not the current license), BBB A+ accredited with no complaints and no BBB reviews, and large but mixed-platform review totals (Experience.com 4.9 from 2,095, Yelp 4.2 from 205); one displayed testimonial names another company and was excluded.”
“Active CSLB C-20 license #919714 (2008), BBB A+ accredited with one answered inspection-delay complaint and no BBB reviews, and Trustindex 4.9 from 1,055 reviews with recent AC repairs (a mirror, not an audit); one review there names a different business and was excluded.”
“Active C-20 license and a posted $59 HVAC diagnostic fee, but a 2-star BBB review alleges unfair pricing and a $20 discount for a positive review, and its 1983 tenure claim conflicts with BBB (1999) and CSLB (2000).”
“Active C-20 license and positive repair reviews, but no matching BBB profile was found and its own reviews page showed no readable reviews.”
We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in September 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
