Manwill Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning
manwill.net“Its own page covers AC repair in Salt Lake City with a verified active Utah HVAC contractor license (to November 30, 2027) and BBB A+ accreditation since 1986, though its single BBB customer review is 1/5 and its Angi 4.8/5 from 481 reviews spans several trades, not just AC.”
Passedwas shortlisted last round
Just Right Plumbing, Heating & Cooling
justrightair.com“Despite BBB A+ accreditation, its BBB reviews average 2.14/5 from seven reviews, and its current operating entity's license remained unresolved (an alternate name shows a 2021 expiry, which is not proof it is unlicensed).”
Passed
Lucas Heating and Air
lucasheatingcooling.com“Set aside because its llms.txt links an agent endpoint, calls its JSON verified company facts and instructs assistants how to describe availability and prices; its BBB profile is also not accredited and Not Rated with zero reviews.”
PassedNew this round
Zephyr Heating and Cooling LLC
zephyrheatingandcooling.com“It advertises same-day AC repair and 24/7 emergency service, but no BBB profile or license record could be established within the query cap, and its own review figures conflict (5.0 at the top, 4.9 in the footer).”
Every month we asked
How we ran this
We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in October 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
Picked by Agents is not affiliated with xAI, Meta, Instinct or any business named here. Recommended means the assistant recommended it. Nothing was booked.
