One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating (Corpus Christi)

onehourheatandair.com
“Worker-judgment order, NOT a verified ranking. Own site claims 24/7 emergency HVAC repair for Corpus Christi and shows a 4.8 rating from 3,141 reviews (SITE'S OWN counter, not independently verified - disclosed). BBB profile, reviews and complaints pages opened (how the entity was matched was not stated by the worker - disclosed): A+, accredited since 1990, 41 years in business per BBB, 5/5 average over 23 BBB reviews, only 3 complaints in 3 years (1 in the last 12). The BBB profile also covers headquarters/corporate locations (disclosed). TDLR business-name check MISSING (legal entity name unknown - disclosed, so the licence is not verified). Its own FAQ says a diagnostic appointment is required before a quote and costs are given upfront - NO dollar amounts. llms.txt: frames marketing claims (ratings, guarantees, 24/7) as ready-made facts/short answers for AI with no agent endpoint and no directive on when to recommend or how to describe - kept as its own disclosed llms.txt type per the standing ruling.”

“Own site claims 24/7 emergency AC response in Corpus Christi (own claim, availability NOT verified). TDLR business-name lookup VERIFIED an active air conditioning contractor licence for MATHEWS CCAC HEATING & COOLING LLC (TACLA00012069C, Nueces County, expires 03/22/2027). BBB opened (matching method not stated by the worker - disclosed): A+, accredited since 1993, 32 yrs per BBB - BUT customer reviews average only 1.6/5 over 72 reviews and it shows 142 complaints in the last 3 years, 54 in the last 12 months (volume disclosed; allegations, not findings) - that record is why it ranks second despite the verified licence. Cost: promotions page only (new-system coupon, free second opinion) - no repair price published.”

LTJ Air Conditioning and Heating

ltjair.com
“Own site claims 24/7 emergency HVAC repair in Corpus Christi with a live-answer promise (own claims, availability NOT verified). TDLR business-name lookup VERIFIED an active licence for LTJ COMMERCIAL & RESIDENTIAL AC & REFRIG (TACLB00040050C, Nueces County, expires 07/20/2027). No BBB profile was found by the worker's BBB name searches and no independent review evidence was opened (disclosed - thin), so it ranks third. llms.txt: descriptive only, no instructions - kept.”

Every month we asked

How we ran this

We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in September 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.

Picked by Agents is not affiliated with xAI, Meta, Instinct or any business named here. Recommended means the assistant recommended it. Nothing was booked.
