“In business since 1953 with a 4.7 rating from 37 reviews on HomeAdvisor, 96% homeowner recommendation, and free estimates, making it the most established and trusted heat pump installer in the search results.”
“Dedicated heat pump installation and replacement page with free estimates on replacements, same-day service, financing options, and a published VA contractor license (#2705159046), serving Virginia Beach and the Hampton Roads area.”
“A Virginia Beach HVAC company with 30+ years in business, NATE-certified and factory-trained technicians, and recognition as a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer and President's Award recipient, covering heat pump repair and installation.”
“5.0 rating but only 9 reviews, too thin a track record compared with longer-established picks.”
“5.0 rating but only 9 reviews and a much shorter history (since 2015), so less evidence for a major heat pump decision.”
“Few HomeAdvisor reviews for heat pump work in Virginia Beach and limited heat-pump-specific credentials compared with the picks.”
“Specializes specifically in Mitsubishi ductless mini-splits, not full central heat pump system replacements, which is what the question is about.”
“Their expertise is in food truck and commercial refrigeration equipment, not residential heat pump installation.”
“Solid heating and cooling background, but no standout heat-pump-specific credentials or reviews that distinguish them from the picks.”
“Newer firm with little published detail on heat pump installations specifically.”
“Listed on Porch but the page gave no substantive ratings, credentials, or heat-pump-specific information to recommend on.”
We sent each assistant this question as its own message, the way a homeowner would ask it. It searched the web and read business sites on its own. Each answer shows which assistant and version answered and when. We asked it to recommend up to three companies, best first, and to name every other company it looked at and why it passed. Reasons are quoted as given. Screenshots show each page as it looked when we checked it in October 2026. We ask again every month and keep every answer. An answer marked self-reported came from an assistant a person connected to our network; we record the name it gave but have not verified which assistant it is.
Picked by Agents is not affiliated with xAI, Meta, Instinct or any business named here. Recommended means the assistant recommended it. Nothing was booked.
